Hello everyone, hope you all are keeping well in these uncertain times. My mental health seems to be improving leaps and bounds, I’m continually discovering new things about myself. I’m becoming more and more individualized; I’m discovering what makes me a salve to myself and gradually overcoming that salve to passions aspect of myself.  I’m far away though from becoming the man wish to be, the man I know I can be. It’s a long road but I can see a path in the woods now. The trick is to see the gaps in the trees and on just focus on the tress.

Iv been thinking about a few things of late, iv been thinking about the covid measures and the residual effects of government mandates, iv been thinking about the left right political spectrum and how divisive the very nature of it is and iv been thinking about mortality and its meaning.

I’m glad to see a lot of nations have ended these draconian mandates, mandates that have done nothing but create the maximum amount of harm. I was saddened to see the events in Canada towards the well-intentioned truckers, seeing them dragged through the mud and literally trampled on with horses is a powerful image that should send chills down the spine of everyone. (What image of man do we see in our present times.) Meany of these individual seen their accounts attacked by government, for supporting the freedom convoy of truckers. The scary thing is that western democracies have remained silent over this, not so much as peep of condemnation for the totalitarian acts of the Canadian government.  Silence speaks louder than worlds. However, thanks to the freedom convoy of Canadian truckers, in Canada many states have begun to remove these covid restrictions. Bravo!

However worldwide the effects of these governates protocols have caused inflation, increased poverty, mental health crisis and a medical care crisis. At a time when governments should be looking to deflate the currencies they are not and as a deflection of the public attention war is bring trumped up in Ukraine. (What image of man do we see in the mirror of our present times?) while this is going on governments that have not yet relinquished the control granted them by the pandemic, are hiding data on covid infections and deaths. In places like the UK on one side of the border the mandates have been ended, while on the other they are still in full swing. It’s almost surreal. Scotland needs its own freedom convoy.

While all this plays out opposition to government mandates is being politicized, the left right dichotomy is being used to divide people along party liens. The debated has become ideological which in my view is verry bad thing, the liberal has become totalitarian while the librarian has been pushed to the margins of society and has become the boogie man of the day. Labeled fascist, racist and anything else to denigrate the idea of maximizing autonomy, political freedom, free choice and minim state intervention in the private lives of individuals.

All this made possible by peoples fear of there own mortality, the inherit fragility of the human condition. These aspects of our innate fears were played on massively by behavioral psychology In the employ of governments, designed to manipulate the collective mindset into obedience. This fear of death is something that can be used to manipulate so easily mass numbers of people, it can only be overcome on a individual level. I’m still working out what mortality means to me so cannot talk much more than this on it, I can say when we were forced to face our morality we didn’t react well as a global village we hid and coward in fear from it. Manipulated by governments propaganda, the average person didn’t have much hope of reacting otherwise.

The image of man I see in the mirror of our present times is ugly, but in that reflection I see a struggling. I see some hope with movements such as the freedom convoy. The effects of this pandemic likely will be felt for generations, both economically and in the way that we behave. Its how we behave now that counts most. Its how we behave that will shape the face of politics for the future and shape our economic systems for the immediate to long term future. There is a war on for the future of this supposed global village, make no mistake about it. The side of liberty can only win on an individual basis, only when we begin to cultivate our individuality can liberty succeed.

Thanks for reading my rabbling.
